Hey @DougA, there's no modded Zender BIOS for the T410. Did update to a stock BIOS version? Which one? Or did you get a modded BIOS from some one else?

God Bless You, Jack Ukleja!

It takes me a number of days, trying to succeed with the driver from the LENOVO support page. Although I could see the Ericsson F3507g Mobile Broadband card on the screen it did not function on Windows 7 whatever I tried.
Fortunately I found your web page....now, finally it works!
The community needs people like you!
Have a long and felicitously life!

Under win7 wwan is not supported with cisco vpn (ndis driver problem).
You have to use dial up with win7 and cisco vpn or ssl vpn.

With the LG X120 with windows 7 (32bit) I found that XP drivers works very well (with the wonderful solution of Ericsson Wirless Manager 5)
those are the drivers:
Ericsson F3507g Drivers, Version 5.0.1044.13
It installs like a charm, and works with no prob at all.
the package also includes 64bit drivers.

Your solution realy worked well. I have bought my Laptop two months ago and have been on many sites claiming to have asolution. When I got to this site, I was already exhausted of paging and reading for hours solutions that never worked. Not to mention losing my data on downloading stuff that never worked. I have been twice but because of being lazy to read all over again; I then thought that I will never find any solution for the cardslot to work. My latest plan was to get another Laptop and just forget about this one but now I am very excited to see it connecting on its own. Thanks a million times you deserve an AWARD.

I have been following all the advice on this forum to install a Toshiba branded Ericsson F3697gw into a Lenovo T410 (with presetup for WWAN). Lenovo drivers and software did not recognise or work with the cards.
The laptops are running Win7 professional.
First I had to remove the whitelist from the BIOS, update of BIOS required.
Then install the card.
Downloaded driver install files from IBM, Ericsson and Acer, none worked. Mostly they didn't recognise that the card was there, when I went to update the driver manually you could point it to a driver but it would come back with an error saying device not responding.
The ONLY driver files that worked were the Toshiba drivers ER_3g_drivers_62123_R3M03.zip, http://support1.toshiba-tro.de/tools/3g/ER_3g_drivers_62123_R3M03.zip.
Remove all the previous drivers and software and install this package fully.
Make sure you have a SIM card in the slot behind the battery and the Win7 Broadband software will recognize the card and will connect.
Tried and worked on two T410 laptops.

You can actually set these settings on the properties of the modem.
If you check the properties of the 3g modem in the phones and modems applet in control panel, click on the 3g modem and then properties, then click on the change settings button and then look on the advanced tab you see a box for the initialization string

I'm just using windows ppp to do dial up with a 3g modem on a t500, no other software needed.
